Current Priorities

Academics

21st Century Model Technology Classrooms
Innovative technology brings the curriculum to life and enhances learning at all levels across all grades. This technology will allow cluster schools to increase the effectiveness of teachers, maximize the potential of students, and attract the very best teachers in the future.

In addition,

Staff Development
Retreats are designed to develop a seamless educational experience from kindergarten through the twelfth grade and to develop consistency between schools. Each year the foundation will fund a three day retreat for administrators, teachers, and clerical staff for all of the cluster schools.
Foundation Scholarships
Education scholarships will be awarded to students and faculty members to encourage and reward outstanding achievement.
Student Social and Leadership Development
To meet their true potential, students must develop social and leadership skills. The foundation will fund social and leadership opportunities to encourage this development.
Technology Enhancements
The foundation seeks to fund the adoption of new technology as it emerges.

Athletics

Athletic Facilities at Malcom Bridge Middle School
Malcom Bridge Middle School currently lacks adequate facilities for physical education and extra-curricular sports. Physical development is critical in allowing students to meet their full potential. The foundation will provide a suitable facility for practice and games.

Fine Arts

Completion of Fine Arts Center
Funds are needed to complete the new Fine Arts Center at North Oconee High School. Current needs include a back stage area in the theater and a suspended wood floor to replace the existing tile and concrete floor in the dance studio.
